Designs and develops mechanical components for cardiac electrophysiology catheters, sheaths, and other medical devices. Responsibilities include prototyping, CAD design, manufacturing process development, test fixture creation, troubleshooting assembly issues, design reviews, FMEA participation, supplier coordination, clinical evaluations, and cross-functional integration with electrical and software engineering teams.

Develop and evaluate signal processing, image processing, machine learning, and computational algorithms for ultrasound-enabled medical devices. Implement real-time software, analyze bench, preclinical, and clinical data, validate algorithms, assess technical feasibility, and guide design decisions. Collaborate with engineering, clinical, design, and research teams while providing technical leadership and mentorship in algorithm development for cardiac electrophysiology applications.

Performs software verification and quality assurance for medical-device systems in standalone and hardware-in-the-loop environments. Develops and executes manual and automated test plans, validates technical and functional requirements, analyzes workflows and test results, documents findings, and recommends quality improvements. Collaborates with multidisciplinary engineering and QA teams to diagnose defects, resolve integration issues, and improve product configurations. The role is onsite at least four days per week.
