Conducts utilization and continued-authorization reviews, develops recommendations, documents case activity, and escalates cases for peer review. Provides remote telerehabilitation consultations and communicates with patients, providers, payors, adjusters, and case managers. Supports quality management, clinical oversight, training identification, and evidence-based practice.

Researches complex billing, claims, and reimbursement issues to support accurate revenue collection. The analyst identifies trends, reports workflow opportunities, proposes process improvements, documents resolutions, meets productivity standards, and protects patient account confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines.

Reviews medical records, treatment plans, and clinical documentation for utilization and continued-care authorization. Provides remote physical therapy consultations, evaluates case eligibility using clinical guidelines and professional judgment, communicates with patients and care stakeholders, documents recommendations and case activity, conducts ongoing reviews, supports peer review, and provides clinical guidance to non-clinical staff. The role requires a PT, MPT, or DPT and direct patient-care experience.
