Designs, programs, installs, modifies, and repairs electrical control systems and manufacturing automation. Develops schematics, PLC/HMI programs, technical calculations, equipment scopes, and acceptance criteria. Responsibilities include troubleshooting production equipment, designing and commissioning new machinery, developing equipment criteria, coordinating with operators and multidisciplinary engineering teams, evaluating suppliers, preparing estimates and schedules, and supervising contractors. The role operates in a capital-intensive metals manufacturing environment and requires compliance with applicable safety codes and export-control regulations.

Leads marketing strategy and business development for Materion’s semiconductor sector. Develops market insights, identifies growth opportunities, builds OEM and technology-partner relationships, guides new product and application development, and translates customer requirements into manufacturable products. Oversees early qualification, application testing, technical discussions, product launches, and cross-functional execution while providing executive-level market updates and external industry representation.
