Leads the Appeals Division, supervising more than ten attorneys and two paralegals while overseeing approximately 400 criminal and civil cases in state and federal courts. Responsibilities include assigning and editing legal work, advising government stakeholders, managing operations and personnel, coordinating with agency leadership, developing training, supervising litigation, handling appellate and trial matters, and supporting investigations, policy initiatives, and amicus activity.

Represents Massachusetts convictions, criminal justice officials, agencies, and laws in state and federal trial and appellate courts. Handles appeals, post-conviction matters, habeas corpus actions, civil litigation, discovery, constitutional challenges, investigations, trial teams, policy initiatives, and amicus activity while managing a complex caseload.

Mediates consumer complaints involving investments, annuities, lending, insurance, and financial services. Researches issues, provides consumer guidance and referrals, collaborates with agencies and community partners, and supports investigations, litigation, and policy work. The role requires strong communication, research, organization, data analysis, and the ability to explain complex financial information clearly.
