Provide legal and regulatory advice on prepaid, debit, and credit card products; assess and mitigate payment-related legal risks; advise cross-functional teams and sponsor banks on product launches; monitor and analyze payments regulations; manage outside counsel; support product, engineering, risk, and go-to-market stakeholders to ensure compliance and enable product development.

The Assistant General Counsel, Corporate, will oversee SEC reporting, corporate governance, board support, insider trading compliance, and legal support for corporate transactions. This role requires extensive public company securities expertise, strong drafting skills, and collaborative leadership across departments.

Lead Marqeta's global total rewards strategy, overseeing compensation, variable pay, equity, and benefits programs. Provide strategic counsel to executive leadership and the Compensation Committee, ensure regulatory and equity compliance globally, drive benchmarking and continuous improvement, and build a high-performing compensation and benefits team.
