Own and operate production database infrastructure at scale, ensuring monitoring, performance, reliability, backups, disaster recovery, and capacity planning. Optimize MySQL configurations, queries, schemas, indexes, and execution plans. Automate maintenance, execute upgrades and migrations, investigate incidents, improve documentation, and partner with software engineers on scalable database practices. The role also provides technical guidance to junior team members and supports cloud infrastructure using Terraform.

Lead product design for a critical area of Mark43’s public safety software portfolio. Own design direction, conduct qualitative and quantitative research, translate complex first-responder workflows into intuitive experiences, and guide initiatives from discovery through delivery. Partner with Product and Engineering, influence strategy, contribute to design systems, mentor designers, present recommendations, and design across workstations, laptops, tablets, and mobile applications. Explore responsible AI-powered experiences and maintain high standards for interaction and visual design.

Oversee RMS configuration, business process analysis, workflow design, testing, implementation, training, and change management for public safety agencies. Advise customers on Reporting, Case Management, Evidence, and Warrants products; establish implementation best practices; coordinate integrations and hardware testing; gather product feedback; support project planning, risk management, staffing, budgeting, and training material updates. The role requires strong communication, stakeholder collaboration, and at least 50% travel.
