Leads backend and cloud architecture for federal and geospatial programs. Designs scalable, secure systems for data ingestion, geospatial processing, machine learning, APIs, databases, and service delivery. Oversees backend development, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, CI/CD, observability, security, reliability, and FinOps. Supervises and mentors backend staff while collaborating with data scientists, GIS professionals, project managers, federal stakeholders, and external partners.

Supports the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, HR systems and data integrity, benefits and compensation processes, training, performance support, compliance administration, events, reporting, personnel files, and employee communications. The coordinator also processes invoices, monitors the HR inbox, maintains documentation, administers HIPAA training, and assists with HR projects while ensuring confidentiality, accuracy, and a positive employee experience.

Coordinates place-based projects and initiatives for the Remaking Local Economies team. Responsibilities include managing timelines and follow-up, coordinating local partners, conducting light research, preparing reports and presentations, supporting communications and marketing content, monitoring spending and procurements, organizing events, responding to inquiries, and maintaining network records. The role requires strong writing, organization, stakeholder management, and multitasking skills, with hybrid work and approximately 10% travel.
