Design and implement core payment infrastructure including workflow engines, partner integrations, ledgering systems, and public APIs. Make architectural decisions with leadership, own projects end-to-end, and help shape engineering culture and technical practices at an early-stage fintech.

First in-house legal hire responsible for drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements (banks, processors, liquidity providers, enterprise customers), advising on product and regulatory strategy for payments and digital assets, aligning contracts with compliance (BSA/AML, sanctions, data protection), building scalable legal operations (CLM, templates, workflows), and supporting governance, fundraising, and strategic transactions.
