January Company Culture & Values

There's lots of things I love about January, but to me the most important are the mission and especially the people. My colleagues are some of the most thoughtful, kind, talented and supportive people I know. I feel lucky every day to work with them.

January’s culture prioritizes a healthy work-life balance allowing me to remain productive as a new mother. With a leadership team that leads by example and team members that mutually respect each other’s personal lives, I feel comfortable taking time off as needed to prioritize my mental and physical well-being or personal obligations.

The team’s ideas have shaped the core of our business’s culture, vision, strategy, and more. Frequent feedback – a cultural value – underpins how we operate. Structured and unstructured feedback mechanisms, including one-on-ones, bi-monthly reflections, agility-improving surveys, and post-mortem conversations facilitate regular idea sharing.
