Supports special hazards sales and project managers by qualifying leads, preparing estimates and proposals, coordinating customers, vendors, subcontractors, materials, inspections, and field activities. Assists with project documentation, submittals, drawings, permits, change orders, meetings, testing, closeout materials, and turnover from sales to operations. The role combines inside sales, customer service, estimating, and assistant project management responsibilities.

Prepares service estimates and proposals, qualifies opportunities, gathers pricing from vendors and subcontractors, and supports Outside Sales throughout the sales cycle. Maintains customer relationships, tracks opportunities, coordinates with internal teams, and manages unassigned accounts until transition. The role requires strong organization, communication, problem-solving, customer service, and Microsoft Office skills.

Leads the company’s supply chain strategy across procurement, strategic sourcing, warehouse operations, inventory, logistics, tools, and equipment. Oversees supplier relationships, negotiations, cost controls, purchasing technology implementation, performance metrics, and demand forecasting. Partners with operations, fabrication, project management, and field teams to ensure material availability and delivery. Manages and develops the supply chain team while maintaining compliance with safety, DOT, and sourcing standards.

Process weekly multi-state payroll for over 650 union and non-union employees, including earnings, deductions, taxes, and net pay. Prepare certified payroll reports, maintain union payroll records, process employee changes, handle new-hire reporting, garnishments, and tax levies, and respond to routine payroll questions. Assist with audits, reconciliations, payroll compliance, tax filings, and year-end reviews while cross-training in advanced payroll responsibilities.

Manage HR administration across onboarding, orientation, offboarding, employee records, HRIS data audits, payroll changes, interview coordination, recruiting support, employee inquiries, benefits backup, documentation, and HR projects. Provide administrative support to Corporate Services, Administrative, and Marketing teams, coordinate meetings and materials, maintain confidentiality, and assist with process improvements and employee events.

The Assistant Controller leads month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities; maintains the general ledger; oversees accounts payable and billing accounting; supports payroll; reviews accounting staff work; and prepares financial reporting. The role strengthens internal controls, improves accounting processes, develops Excel reporting and automation tools, supports audits and job-cost accounting, and partners with the Controller on financial initiatives. Construction experience and CMiC familiarity are preferred.

Develop new business for Special Hazards fire protection systems and services. Build relationships with contractors, facility owners, engineers, and industry partners; identify opportunities; review technical documents; collaborate on estimates, proposals, scopes, and bids; manage pursuits through award; and support transitions to project execution. The role also promotes recurring inspections, maintenance, upgrades, and service agreements while representing the company at industry events.
