Conduct applied economic, regulatory, and policy research for public-sector clients. Responsibilities include synthesizing technical information, performing cost-benefit and econometric analyses, developing models and databases, drafting rulemaking documents, and supporting multidisciplinary consulting projects. The role requires client interaction, strong communication, quantitative analysis, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Supports federal clients with policy and regulatory research, public comment analysis, rulemaking documents, qualitative and quantitative analysis, recommendations, reports, presentations, and client communications. The role involves managing multiple projects, synthesizing technical and policy information, and contributing to federal program and rulemaking improvements. It is an entry-level hybrid position based in Reston, Virginia, or Waltham, Massachusetts, starting Summer 2027.

Lead and manage consulting engagements delivering power market analysis, price forecasts, asset valuations, transaction support, and strategic advisory. Oversee modeling (PROMOD, PSLF, PLEXOS, Aurora), mentor staff, manage client relationships, drive business development, publish thought leadership, and contribute to proprietary forecasting and analytical tools across U.S. power markets and technologies including renewables, storage, transmission, and large loads.

Supports urban planning and design projects involving brownfield redevelopment, adaptive reuse, community revitalization, economic development, housing, transportation, and public realm improvements. Conducts research, data collection, quantitative and qualitative analysis, data visualization, market analyses, conceptual design, report development, and community engagement. Works with local, state, and federal clients and contributes to workshops, presentations, and other outreach activities.

Lead economic, financial, and policy analyses for regulatory issues (primarily transportation, safety, environment). Perform quantitative modeling, benefit-cost and impact assessments, risk characterization, and advise federal/state clients. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate findings to clients and stakeholders.

Perform quantitative economic and technical analyses of U.S. power markets; develop long-term forecasts; evaluate renewable, storage, generation, and transmission investments; support interconnection, asset valuation, M&A due diligence, and client deliverables; enhance proprietary forecasting tools and support business development.
