Develop and troubleshoot CNC processes and CAM programs for lathes, multi-axis mills, and mill-turns. Set up and operate CNC and conventional equipment, produce hardware from engineering definitions, perform dimensional checks, create work instructions, support process improvements, and provide guidance to skilled employees. The role also involves special processes such as EDM, laser welding, and robotics, along with tooling, fixturing, and production support.

Leads manufacturing support and process performance for an aerospace afterburner component. Drives improvements in safety, ergonomics, first-time yield, productivity, quality, cost, delivery, workflow, and shop-floor efficiency. Partners with operations, quality, engineering, planning, and maintenance teams to redesign processes, optimize layouts, reduce aged work-in-process, and apply lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methods in a unionized production environment.

Develop and operate 2-, 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machining processes for aerospace development and production hardware. Set up machines, create tooling and production plans, interpret blueprints, perform dimensional inspections using CMM equipment, troubleshoot process issues, and support continuous improvement. Provide direction to skilled employees and collaborate with engineering, project, and shop-floor teams while following safety and quality procedures.
