Performs molecular diagnostic testing of patient specimens, including NGS library preparation, nucleic acid extraction, hybridization capture, sequencing, liquid handling, equipment maintenance, and LIMS documentation. Maintains SOP, GDP, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; supports investigations, CAPA/NCR processes, and continuous improvement. This is a regular onsite role with a Tuesday–Saturday evening shift.

Advises leaders, managers, and employees on complex employee relations matters, workplace investigations, performance management, organizational change, and employment risk. Manages sensitive cases through resolution, partners with Legal and HR teams, ensures compliant policy application, and develops training and resources. Supports clinical laboratory regulatory compliance, quality assurance, audits, CAPA, competency assessments, non-conformance reporting, proficiency programs, and continuous process improvement. Requires domestic travel up to 10% and occasional availability outside regular shifts.

Conduct original bioinformatics research and develop genomic signatures in oncology using large-scale NGS datasets. Design and refine analysis pipelines, manage cloud and HPC data infrastructure, ensure data quality, visualize and interpret results, and communicate findings in scientific forums and publications while collaborating cross-functionally.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data platform components and distributed system software. Build batch and streaming data pipelines, implement data-science algorithms, optimize data delivery, automate processes, and contribute in an Agile environment. Perform unit testing, code reviews, and generate technical documentation while mentoring junior engineers.

Lead strategy and modernization for Operations technology (LIMS, automation, sample management). Develop multi-year capability roadmaps, own platform lifecycle and governance, ensure compliance and interoperability, drive ITIL-based operational excellence, manage vendor relationships, budgets, and stakeholder alignment across R&D, Operations, IT, and cybersecurity.

Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications and REST endpoints for a data-intensive pipeline. Produce reusable, testable, documented code; participate in architecture, code reviews, Agile delivery, and ensure cloud-native, secure, and scalable systems.

Lead FMI's privacy program as a senior legal advisor and Privacy Officer. Provide counsel on U.S. and international data protection laws (HIPAA, GDPR, state and genetic privacy laws), support incident response, negotiate data protection terms in agreements, develop policies and training, collaborate across legal, compliance, product, security, and business teams, and manage outside counsel as needed.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data platforms and batch/streaming pipelines. Implement data scientist algorithms, drive engineering best practices, mentor junior engineers, improve processes and infrastructure, and contribute to distributed system software and CI/CD in an Agile environment.

Lead and deliver process improvement and transformation initiatives across specimen management and lab operations. Drive Lean/Kaizen events, root-cause analysis, process control, metrics, and change management. Collaborate cross-functionally, develop operational strategy and roadmaps, and implement sustainable process excellence to realize cost savings and improved profitability. Travel up to 15%.

Serve as strategic IT partner between R&D, Product, and IT to define multi-year capability roadmaps, prioritize investments, and own platform lifecycle for ELN, LIMS, and data science platforms. Drive governance, integrations, ITIL-based operations, vendor management, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional alignment to ensure secure, scalable, and user-centric R&D technology solutions.

Support operation and regulatory compliance of a CLIA clinical laboratory, provide molecular pathology and laboratory medicine expertise, oversee assay validation/verification and quality systems, liaise with accrediting bodies, contribute to strategy and KPI monitoring, and ensure timely, accurate diagnostic testing and staff supervision.

Respond to and resolve client inquiries via phone and email, act as liaison between internal teams and external customers/patients, manage high volumes of interactions, document communications, assist with test requests, sample procurement, data entry, and maintain patient records while ensuring secure transmission of reports and HIPAA compliance.

Lead development and execution of global procurement strategies, run RFPs, manage supplier negotiations and category projects, drive S2P process improvements, perform market and risk analysis, track KPIs and savings, and manage one direct report while partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver cost reduction and operational efficiency.
