Hands-on mechanical and data engineering role focused on transforming engineering data into high-quality AI training and evaluation datasets. Responsibilities include CAD modeling, annotation, reference design creation, data quality standards, workflow tooling feedback, customer data support, and cross-functional collaboration with product, research, engineering, and customer teams. The role requires strong mechanical/manufacturing expertise and experience with CAD, technical documentation, assemblies, GD&T, and engineering artifacts.

Lead architecture and technical design for scalable software systems across AI, simulation, and cloud infrastructure. Partner with product and research teams to deliver production features, define engineering standards, improve reliability and performance, mentor engineers, and contribute hands-on code. The role requires expertise in distributed systems, Python, TypeScript, SQL, gRPC, Protobuf, GCP, React, and modern deployment technologies.

Develop geometry-processing and simulation algorithms for engineering applications, build services for 2D/3D CAD, CAE, and CAM data, create rendering modules, curate datasets, optimize machine learning post-training workflows, and contribute to engineering domain-specific languages. The role requires strong Python development, computational design or geometry-processing experience, machine learning expertise, and familiarity with CAD/CAM/CAE tools, LLM post-training, and compilers or DSLs.
