Lead the architecture and technical direction of Forward Financing’s core fintech platform. Design scalable distributed backend systems, guide cross-team initiatives, establish engineering best practices, resolve incidents, and mentor engineers. The role owns the technical roadmap and architectural vision while partnering across teams to improve reliability, observability, code quality, and delivery. Ruby on Rails expertise is required, along with strong communication, influence, agile development experience, and a broad backend or full-stack perspective.

The GRC Analyst manages third-party risk assessments, vendor due diligence, security policies, risk analysis, internal audits, and SOC 2 audit support. The role involves maintaining the GRC program, tracking findings, coordinating stakeholders, promoting security awareness, and using AI and machine learning to automate compliance processes. Candidates should have 1–2+ years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with risk methodologies, vendor assessments, policies, and compliance audits.

Set the technical vision for data science, lead complex statistical and machine learning model development from concept through production, and architect scalable modeling platforms and pipelines. Develop credit risk, pricing, and loss forecasting models; establish model governance standards; partner with senior leaders; mentor data scientists; and communicate technical strategy to executives. The role emphasizes production deployment, monitoring, cloud architecture, and high-impact decision-making across the business.
