The Sr. Controls Engineer designs, programs, and tests automated sortation systems, leads projects, troubleshoots controls issues, and mentors junior engineers.

Lead mechanical engineering for medium-to-large material handling and conveyor projects from design through installation. Provide technical leadership, review scopes and drawings, produce 3D models, manage deliverables and schedules, coordinate cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, resolve installation issues, and drive continuous improvement in engineering quality and project execution.

Own scope, schedule, and budget for material-handling projects (up to $40M). Coordinate internal teams, vendors, subcontractors, and customers. Provide on-site project management (≈50% time), schedule engineering activities, resolve installation/mechanical issues, manage budgets, recruit staff, and report project progress using Microsoft Office tools.
