The Staff Accountant supports month-end close, journal entries, cash and account reconciliations, revenue recognition, deferred revenue accounting, audits, internal controls, and reporting. The role also improves accounting processes using AI and other tools while partnering across teams to maintain accurate information. It is designed for an early-career accountant with 1–2 years of experience, strong GAAP knowledge, Excel proficiency, attention to detail, and an interest in developing technical accounting skills.

Own key month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, variance analysis, and revenue recognition. Maintain audit-ready records, support audits, analyze complex datasets, and partner with FP&A and business teams. Improve accounting workflows, internal controls, reporting, data flows, and automation using ERP systems, Excel, AI, and emerging technologies.

Own the full sales cycle for small-market transportation customers, from inbound and outbound prospecting through closing. Engage business owners and decision-makers, conduct consultative sales conversations, manage lead prioritization and CRM records, forecast pipeline, meet monthly revenue targets, and position SaaS solutions based on customer compliance and regulatory needs.
