What It's Like to Work at Flatiron Health

With flexibility engrained in my schedule, I have the freedom to spend my mornings walking my kids to school instead of being tied to a commute. In the spring, I can adjust my workday to wrap up a little early so I can coach my son's baseball team, allowing me to balance my personal and professional life in ways that matter most.

One of Flatiron’s values is ‘be kind’ and it really shows in our culture. Everyone here is incredibly kind and genuine. There is a lot of interest in you as a person and how you want to grow, not just what needs to get done tactically for the next phase of the project.

Our learn, teach, and grow philosophy is a core part of Flatiron that I find a lot of value in. From honing my technical craft alongside more experienced engineers to working on stretch projects that challenge me-I am constantly motivated to grow myself and those who come after me.

My favorite part about Flatiron is the people. My colleagues across varying teams and countries are not only smart and passionate about their work, but also kind. I feel extremely lucky to get to work with them.
