Own FAR.AI’s earned media strategy, including research release planning, reporter and outlet relationships, media training, inbound requests, op-eds, pitches, and reactive communications. The role requires shaping coverage of AI safety research, preparing researchers and leaders for interviews, deciding how to communicate sensitive findings, and securing credible coverage among AI and policy audiences.

Conduct applied AI safety research using white-box methods such as activation explainers, steering, attribution, and model-internal interventions. Evaluate methods on realistic, large-scale models and agentic coding tasks, develop practical monitors and interventions, publish findings, propose research directions, and engage with researchers, frontier AI developers, governments, and the broader AI alignment community.

Own FAR.AI’s internal IT and security function, including accounts, devices, identity and access management, onboarding, offboarding, office networking, support, endpoint hardening, data protection, governance, and vendor risk. The role will remediate security gaps using threat modeling, automate self-service infrastructure, partner across teams, communicate and manage change, and hire and lead an IT Coordinator.
