We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design and implement software systems that control hardware, acquire data, run classification algorithms and present results intuitively to the operator. This position reports to our Software Director and the person in this role will join our team of scientists, hardware and algorithm engineers, and other software engineers to develop products in Evolv’s positive, energetic, and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate has deep experience developing C++ software for real-time electro-mechanical systems. This is initially an individual contributor role but has potential to grow into a team lead. You will help support both existing products and new products from the early stages of New Product Introduction (NPI) through product launch, ECO and into volume production.

We are looking for a Hardware Engineer to help us develop innovative system architectures and hardware subsystems for our security products that are designed for both indoor and outdoor use. This position reports to our Hardware Engineering Director. The ideal candidate has previous experience developing hardware/embedded communication systems involving wireless, radio, security, and networking technologies. In this role, you will work independently on embedded hardware architectures on all phases of design, including specification, schematic capture, PBC layout, board bring-up, DVT, and product compliance (FCC emissions, FCC radio regulatory, safety, UL, and environmental). We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to help us introduce new products into manufacturing from engineering. As the interface between the two teams, the manufacturing engineer will play a critical role by devising new solutions to existing manufacturing problems, and by applying working knowledge of product design and assembly to Evolv's manufacturing processes. The work involves developing assembly work instructions for newly released products, managing customer shipment schedules, and evaluating exiting manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction. Our manufacturing engineer will solve procurement problems arising from suppliers and will use hands on capability to help prototype solutions to manufacturing problems. If you’re inventive and meticulous, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you’ll be the one to ensure our production lines work efficiently and effectively to satisfy our customers.
