Serves as a technical authority and trusted advisor for sales teams, customers, and partners. The role develops customer architectures, demonstrates Elastic solutions, supports sales cycles from discovery through technical win, enables partners, creates sales collateral, engages communities through events, and communicates customer needs to product and engineering teams. The position requires strong technical presales and customer relationship skills, with 30% regional travel and occasional international travel.

Leads enterprise data strategy, platform architecture, Master Data Management, federated governance, data quality, compliance, and real-time analytics. Builds scalable data infrastructure, modernizes legacy pipelines, establishes operational data hubs, and enables secure data products across the enterprise. Oversees data engineering, architecture, MDM, governance, and embedded analytics teams while partnering with executives and business units to drive transformation, operational efficiency, AI readiness, and acquisition integration.

Own the vision and roadmap for Elastic’s US public sector offering across FedRAMP and DoD IL5 environments. Translate compliance and agency requirements into product priorities, collaborate with Engineering, Security, Compliance, Legal, Sales, and Marketing, support government customers, track regulatory changes, and develop market insights. The role requires deep technical product management experience, federal compliance expertise, cloud knowledge, and eligibility to work in restricted US government environments.
