Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, pricing, and platform economics for DigitalOcean’s App Platform, Serverless Functions, and Container Registry. Partner with engineering, infrastructure, finance, and go-to-market teams to improve developer experience, utilization, reliability, cost efficiency, and growth. Lead customer discovery, architecture tradeoffs, launches, competitive analysis, and post-launch outcomes across managed compute services.

Designs and operates scalable managed database infrastructure and distributed control-plane systems. The role owns architecture, performance, resiliency, automated failover, backups, recovery, observability, and production reliability for PostgreSQL and MySQL services. It also leads complex cross-team technical initiatives, mentors engineers, participates in on-call rotations, and supports high-concurrency data and AI-adjacent workloads.

Own complex, non-standard, and high-value deal execution from quoting through contracting and quote-to-cash. Partner with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Revenue Operations to resolve issues, enforce pricing and revenue policies, maintain CRM data quality, and improve deal desk processes. Define CRM and CPQ system requirements, lead automation and AI-enabled process improvements, optimize policies and playbooks, and mentor analysts while presenting data-driven recommendations to senior stakeholders.
