Leads and scales Defense Unicorns’ Discovery & Framing function. Personally facilitates complex customer engagements, identifies root mission problems, quantifies impact, defines success criteria, maps stakeholders and acquisition paths, and delivers executive-quality outputs. Establishes methodology, standards, playbooks, and team capacity while coaching practitioners. Maintains independent judgment about customer needs, opportunity fit, and next steps, bridging mission problems with appropriate capabilities without acting as a traditional salesperson or solutions engineer.

Build, test, deploy, and maintain scoped software features and fixes for mission-critical, cloud-native defense systems. Collaborate with engineering, product, design, and users; debug issues; document implementations; contribute to open-source projects and tooling; and participate in production support and on-call practices. The role offers guidance while developing skills in architecture, Kubernetes, software delivery, interoperability, security, and reliability.

The Account Executive will lead strategic pursuits for new business, develop capture plans, engage with government stakeholders, and drive acquisition efforts across the Defense Industrial Base, aligning technical solutions to mission outcomes.
