Senior Legal Counsel serving as Kit’s sole in-house legal expert, advising on privacy, data, AI, compliance, product, intellectual property, commercial contracts, customer security requirements, and scalable legal operations. The role partners with executive, product, engineering, security, sales, finance, and people teams; develops playbooks and self-service processes; oversees GDPR and data compliance; supports security questionnaires; and reduces reliance on outside counsel.

Serve as Kit’s sole in-house legal expert, leading privacy, data, AI, compliance, product counsel, commercial contracts, intellectual property, and customer security support. Advise executive and cross-functional teams, oversee GDPR and data compliance, respond to security questionnaires, and create scalable legal playbooks, templates, intake processes, and self-service guidance. The role reduces reliance on outside counsel while enabling product development and business growth across SaaS, digital commerce, recommendations, and advertising.

Own core publishing products including email templates, landing pages, forms, and newsletter sites. Identify opportunities, define product vision and strategy, prioritize work, partner with engineering and design, ship major initiatives, measure outcomes, and improve content creation experiences for hundreds of thousands of creators. The role requires strong product judgment, quantitative analysis, systems thinking, AI fluency, visual craft, autonomy, and cross-functional influence.
