Teams at Community Resources for Justice

Supports grant and foundation research, grant writing, proposals, letters of inquiry, grant tracking in Instrumental, reporting, development meetings, and nonprofit development projects. The internship provides practical experience in philanthropy, funding models, organizational sustainability, and social-impact work. This is a remote role requiring 10–15 hours weekly for up to 16 weeks.

Provides organization-wide compliance oversight across human services programs. Establishes regulatory governance, directs audits and investigations, identifies risks, manages corrective action plans, maintains compliance reporting and policies, supports licensing and accreditation reviews, advises leadership, delivers training, and reports performance to executives and the Board. The remote role requires regular travel throughout New England and to New York, plus a valid driver's license.

Supports national adult and youth justice policy projects through process documentation, policy and literature research, report and presentation development, fact-checking, stakeholder interview preparation, meeting notes, information tracking, and administrative assistance. The intern synthesizes complex information, evaluates justice policies and practices, communicates findings to varied audiences, and collaborates with project teams under tight deadlines.
