Lead HR strategy and operations: employee relations, conflict resolution, performance management, onboarding, pay equity audits, training, policy compliance, and HR reporting. Partner with executive leadership and board to align HR with organizational goals and maintain confidential personnel records.

Lead earned-media strategy and execution across print, radio, TV, blogs, podcasts and other outlets. Build press relationships, write releases, pitch and cold-call journalists, support interviews, manage messaging, travel extensively for actions and site visits, and grow a collaborative team aligned with progressive direct-action goals.

Join a local chapter to lead and coordinate direct actions (creative protests, disruptions, sit-ins) that pressure political leaders and corporations on climate policy. Participate in organizing, outreach, and on-the-ground activism in priority cities; apply to be contacted for opportunities.

Lead and grow Climate Defiance’s individual giving program by managing a portfolio of 75+ donors, cultivating four- and five-figure gifts, building systems and pipelines for mid-level and major donors, supporting executive fundraising, managing one development staff, maintaining donor database and stewardship systems, and traveling regularly for donor meetings and events.
