Leads Cisco’s state government affairs and public policy strategy across multiple U.S. states. Advises senior executives, monitors legislative and regulatory developments, builds relationships with policymakers and state agencies, represents Cisco in hearings and industry coalitions, and develops testimony, position papers, and advocacy materials. The role advances technology policy priorities involving AI, cybersecurity, broadband access, economic development, and public safety while aligning policy initiatives with Cisco’s business objectives.

Design and evolve distributed search and analytics systems for the Splunk platform. Lead complex engineering efforts from design through delivery, improve performance and reliability, mentor engineers, collaborate cross-functionally, and work with customers to resolve production issues.

Leads the strategy, architecture, and roadmap for Cisco’s Policy and Data Platform. Builds and scales a 30+ person engineering organization, develops managers and senior engineers, translates customer security needs into reliable production systems, and partners with product and security teams. The role oversees distributed data and policy systems, engineering standards, operational practices, budgets, resource planning, and cross-functional alignment.
