Responsibilities include designing distributed systems, building microservices and APIs, deploying prototypes, debugging, code reviews, testing, DevOps practices, and collaborating across teams to improve automation and operational processes.

Leads forecasting, purchasing, inventory, and in-stock strategies for Equine, Farm, and Exotics categories. Manages supplier performance, onboarding, lead-time reduction, fill-rate and on-time improvements. Analyzes large datasets, develops scalable supply-chain solutions, leads cross-functional projects, and partners with technology and product teams to improve systems and processes.

Develop scalable customer-facing features and internal developer-experience tools for Chewy’s e-commerce platform. Responsibilities include system architecture, automation, observability, CI/CD, monitoring, testing, code reviews, agile collaboration, mentoring junior engineers, and production troubleshooting through on-call rotations.
