Boston Public Health Commission Benefits Overview

Coordinates citywide public health equity projects, including the Live Long and Well Agenda. Tracks workplans, timelines, outcomes, and health indicators; manages stakeholder partnerships, meetings, events, communications, and grant proposal support. The role advances racial and health equity, strengthens community-centered decision-making, and ensures strategic initiatives move from planning to implementation.

Supports public health communications by creating press releases, talking points, web and social content, graphics, newsletters, video scripts, and multilingual materials. Develops campaigns with program staff, manages editorial calendars and project timelines, coordinates vendors, supports media requests and interview preparation, maintains website content, and assists with event, crisis, and emergency communications. Requires strong writing, organization, multimedia production, social media, and public health communication skills.
