Leads the See & Scout engineering organization across software, data, machine learning, and robotics. Owns technical strategy, architecture, and multi-year roadmaps for scalable cloud, distributed data, edge, and machine learning platforms. Oversees the full data and ML lifecycle, production delivery, operational excellence, and customer-focused agricultural intelligence capabilities. Recruits and develops engineering leaders, partners cross-functionally, and aligns stakeholders across Blue River and John Deere.

Lead development of safety frameworks and V&V for end-to-end autonomous robotics, perform risk assessments and safety reviews, derive technical safety requirements, and coordinate cross-functional teams to monitor fleet performance and deploy scalable autonomy.

Own the technical architecture, strategy, and roadmap for an autonomous construction robotics stack spanning localization, planning, controls, and safeguarding. Make build-versus-reuse-versus-buy decisions, design safety systems, guide integration and field validation, establish shared technical foundations across autonomy programs, and mentor engineers. The role requires architecting and shipping production autonomous systems, strong compiled-language software skills, broad systems judgment, and 10+ years of relevant experience.
