The President will lead BID Needham Hospital, driving strategic growth, financial health, and operational excellence while implementing innovative patient care models and fostering community relationships.

Provides basic nursing care and assists patients with activities of daily living under RN supervision on an inpatient medical-surgical unit. Maintains a safe, clean environment; follows nursing care plans, policies, and clinical procedures; supports patient transfers and repositioning; communicates with patients, families, and staff; and completes required training and competencies.

Provides clinical pharmacy services in a hospital, including reviewing medication orders for safety and appropriateness, dispensing medications, entering prescriptions, supervising pharmacy support staff and students, delivering drug information and education, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Leads hospital supply chain operations, including inventory management, warehousing, logistics, purchasing, vendor relationships, contracting, supply expenses, and distribution. Directs Materials Management staff, develops policies and strategic initiatives, manages clinical evaluations and product conversions, ensures regulatory compliance, and drives cost savings and operational improvements across hospital departments and system-wide teams.

Owns IT Support Services knowledge management across organizational entities. Establishes policies and processes for onboarding applications, tools, and process changes; creates, maintains, and governs knowledge articles; and develops end-user self-help practices. Analyzes business problems, documents system interfaces, translates customer needs into requirements, identifies process gaps, and partners with IT teams to implement effective solutions and best practices.

Coordinates utilization management, care planning, discharge planning, and appropriate levels of care for assigned hospital patients. Reviews medical records using InterQual criteria, assesses clinical needs, develops case management plans, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements. Collaborates with physicians, nurses, caregivers, insurers, and multidisciplinary teams to support safe, timely, and efficient patient discharge or disposition. Provides education regarding levels of care and case management practices.

Assists non-acutely ill patients with activities of daily living and basic nursing care under RN supervision. Follows nursing care plans, performs clinical procedures, maintains a safe and clean inpatient environment, and supports nursing unit activities. Serves adolescent through geriatric patients in a medical-surgical setting. Requires physical ability to reposition and transfer patients, effective communication, teamwork, and completion of required hospital training.

Provide direct patient care in a hybrid primary care setting: triage calls, review labs, perform testing and phlebotomy, assist providers with procedures, document care, arrange referrals, maintain logs, follow public health/reporting requirements, and support patient education across all ages.
