Build and lead the risk management function for a regulated fintech, establishing enterprise risk frameworks, policies, controls, KRIs, risk assessments, incident management, and reporting. Monitor broker-dealer financial, liquidity, counterparty, and operational risks; develop controls for self-clearing and ATS businesses; support regulatory examinations and audits; maintain business continuity planning; and partner with finance, compliance, legal, operations, engineering, and senior leadership.

Own complex technical support requests from platform partners, triage production incidents, debug APIs, webhooks, and integrations, and resolve issues within SLAs. The role requires root-cause analysis, SQL and scripting, log and trace investigation, backend code reading, technical writing, and cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Partnerships, and Customer Support. The engineer will also improve runbooks, tooling, documentation, and self-service resources as partner volume scales.

Owns end-customer tax withholding and information reporting for a FINRA-registered broker-dealer. Responsibilities include reviewing W-9 and W-8 documentation, applying FATCA and treaty rules, reconciling tax withholding, coordinating IRS deposits, preparing Forms 1099 and 1042-S, managing corrections, responding to tax inquiries, implementing regulatory changes, and documenting procedures and controls.
