Provides part-time optical test and controls engineering support for a lunar camera environmental test campaign. Responsibilities include operating optical instrumentation and Linux-based camera-control software, developing test routines, executing and documenting benchtop and environmental tests, monitoring data and anomalies, supporting optical alignment and verification, and coordinating with multidisciplinary engineers. The role is remote with periodic on-site work in Massachusetts and Connecticut, approximately 25% travel, and a six-month independent contractor engagement.
