Partners with medical directors and cross-functional teams, authors clinical and regulatory documents, supports risk-benefit assessments, trains junior staff, and drives process improvements while ensuring compliance with global pharmacovigilance regulations.

Leads the application of agentic AI, predictive models, and biological foundation models to identify and validate novel drug targets. Partners with therapeutic-area scientists, deploys multi-agent systems, advises cross-functional teams, contributes to predictive modeling strategy, and advances target prioritization across AstraZeneca’s R&D organization. The role also requires scientific leadership through publications, presentations, collaborations, and technical influence across organizational boundaries.
