Lead financial and regulatory operations for a self-clearing broker-dealer: supervise FOCUS reporting, monitor net capital, ensure SEC/FINRA compliance, maintain internal controls, oversee clearing/settlement and reconciliations, coordinate audits, and advise management on capital and risk.

The role involves managing the accounts product at Alpaca, focusing on KYC, identity verification, and API-driven account capabilities, collaborating with various teams to ensure compliance and partner adoption.

Manage daily crypto customer activity and trading operations, including executions, exceptions, account onboarding/KYC, cash management, and general ledger reconciliation. Support AML investigations, drive process improvements, communicate with partners, and handle ad-hoc projects within a distributed, remote team working core hours around 9am–5pm PT.
