The Technical Account Manager II will oversee customer engagements, providing guidance on product use, resolving technical issues, and ensuring satisfaction. Responsibilities include deployment support, performance monitoring, and customer training while building strong relationships to drive success.

Provide strategic legal counsel on global network and infrastructure commercial transactions. Draft, review, and negotiate data center leases, colocation, bandwidth/connectivity, peering, hardware/software and cloud procurement agreements. Identify transaction risks, develop contract templates and playbooks, manage supplier relationships, support dispute resolution, and advise senior stakeholders on contracting strategy and risk management for Akamai's global platform.

Lead design, implementation, and automation of Akamai's global network. Build and maintain IP/BGP routing, data center CLOS fabrics, and overlay technologies (VxLAN/EVPN). Create/manage configuration templates with Python, Ansible, and Jinja2. Troubleshoot complex multi-vendor environments and collaborate cross-functionally on data models and requirements.

Manage the full renewal lifecycle for public sector accounts—quoting, negotiating, and closing contracts. Maintain renewal forecasting in CRM, build stakeholder relationships, identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities, monitor engagement to mitigate churn, and collaborate on process improvements.

Drive regional channel growth by identifying, developing, and closing business with partners and Fortune 500 customers. Build and manage sales pipeline and forecasts, align partners with field teams, deliver joint value propositions via meetings and events, enable partners through training and marketing, and collaborate with sales engineers to execute consultative engagements.

Ensure reliability, scalability, and usability of network infrastructure for Akamai Connected Cloud. Define requirements and SLOs, build automation and CI/CD pipelines, collaborate with dev/QA to improve code and stability, troubleshoot complex network issues (on-call), and mentor teammates while driving architectural standards.

Serve as a technical partner-facing presales engineer: build trusted partner relationships, enable partners to resell and support Akamai products, support channel sales to grow revenue, create customized sales resources and use cases, present technical solutions, and represent partner needs across product, marketing, services, and support.

Lead and grow a regional pre-sales solutions engineering team to drive security-focused demos, POCs, and revenue. Set strategy, manage performance, build capabilities, develop analytics, and partner cross-functionally to ensure customer success and product adoption.

Lead product strategy and roadmap for GPU instances, clusters, and AI infrastructure. Manage full product lifecycle, build business and technical models, drive go-to-market and partner integrations, translate AI/HPC workload needs into specifications, and oversee GPU infrastructure operations and lifecycle decisions.

Lead and mentor SRE teams; partner with engineering, operations and product; apply statistical analysis and networking expertise to diagnose performance and reliability issues; define and implement data feeds; influence technical decisions and investments; build tooling to automate analytical workflows and increase platform reliability.

Build and operate model validation, quantization, and safety systems for production ML. Develop pipelines for security scanning, optimization (quantization/pruning), routing, prompt management, and evaluation frameworks measuring accuracy, performance, and safety across model lifecycles.

Lead complex, cross-functional cloud compliance and security programs. Align engineering, product, architecture and legal to translate regulatory requirements into scalable systems, manage schedules and risks, embed automated governance, report program health, improve operational efficiency, and mentor junior TPMs.

Lead test strategy and build scalable automated test frameworks for a custom Linux kernel. Validate performance, reliability, and security; develop test suites for kernel enhancements and VM software; debug low-level system issues; enhance CI/build automation; provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.

Serve as a pre-sales technical advisor: run demos, CARs, and POCs; design scalable, secure CDN and edge architectures; guide customers on WAF, API security, bot management, zero trust, DevOps integrations and AI feature adoption to drive product adoption and account growth.

Lead reliability, scalability, and observability for high-density AI hardware infrastructure. Build Python automation and IaC, design telemetry and Prometheus/Grafana dashboards, implement AI-assisted tooling and anomaly detection, manage 24x7 on-call incident response, and coordinate vendor field operations to ensure uptime.

Lead and manage cross-functional technical programs from definition to completion. Create program plans, manage risks and resources, communicate with senior leadership, align SRE/Product/Engineering teams, champion Agile/SAFe practices, and remove blockers to ensure on-time delivery.

Lead architecture, deployment, security, and governance of multi-cloud (M365, Google Workspace, GCP) environments, including GCC High. Drive migrations, automate workflows with PowerShell/Python/Apps Script/GAM/REST APIs, provide Tier 3 support, and produce documentation and SOPs while ensuring compliance with government security standards.

The Senior Product Architect will design security products, collaborating with product management and engineering teams, focusing on architecture and functionality for high-level product features.
