Senior mechanical engineer contractor to design and transition complex electromechanical products to production. Responsibilities include CAD model and 2D drawing development, tolerance analysis, FEA/CFD, component specification/sourcing, mechanism design, strength/heat transfer analysis, and hands-on system bring-up with cross-functional teams.

Design and develop electromechanical products from concept to production. Create detailed SolidWorks models and ASME Y14.5 documentation, perform mechanical analyses (tolerance, FEA/CFD, strength, heat transfer, shock/vibration), prototype and test parts, collaborate with clients, ID/UX and vendors, and support certification and production release.
