Tell us about Academia.edu’s mission. How does that mission influence the company culture, and did it impact your decision to join the team?

We are motivated by our mission, which ensures that every action we take moves us closer to realizing our commitment to accelerating global research. Grants are critical in moving us closer to our mission, as they’re what fund research in the first place. With our Grants platform, we help researchers quickly find the right opportunities and streamline the application process. By cutting down the time it takes to secure funding, we’re directly accelerating the world’s research.

What advice would you give a jobseeker hoping to join your company?
