Vestmark, a Wakefield-based provider of portfolio management solutions for investment firms and advisors, announced a new partnership with Vanguard, an investment management company. The collaboration specifies that Vestmark will provide trading, tax management and advisor-service capabilities to help Vanguard’s wealth managers deliver more personalized portfolios efficiently and at scale.

Advisors leverage Vanguard’s custom model portfolios to select models that reflect client preferences across investment products, asset classes and management styles. Vestmark’s platform supports open-architecture portfolios that can consolidate mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, separately managed accounts, direct indexing and alternative investments.

“Vanguard has built its reputation around disciplined investing, low costs and long-term investor outcomes,” Karl Roessner, Vestmark’s CEO, said in a statement. “By combining that investment expertise with Vestmark’s portfolio-management, trading and tax-management infrastructure, we can help RIAs deliver greater personalization without adding operational complexity. We are proud to support Vanguard as they bring this new offering to the RIA market.”
