Perk, formerly known as TravelPerk, recently rebranded. Reflecting its new name, the company is pursuing a broadened mission to eliminate productivity-draining tasks from everyday work.
“More than a decade ago, we started by removing the friction from traveling for work. Over time, we realized those small, frustrating tasks people do outside of their core job weren’t just hiding in travel, they were everywhere,” Avi Meir, Perk’s CEO and co-founder, said in a statement. “Perk gives companies the fuel they need to make work simpler and give people their time back.”
The company’s new spend management capability is an AI-native module that automates two-thirds of non-core work, such as booking work trips, filing expenses, managing invoices and getting approvals. Powered by an in-house AI lab, Perk’s platform learns from real-world trips, receipts, invoices and payments to automate tasks quickly and more accurately.
The rebrand comes as the company surpasses $300 million in annualized revenue, with more than 10,000 companies across the globe leveraging Perk’s technology. Building on this growth, Perk is scaling globally by establishing dual headquarters in Boston and London.
