Orbita, a Boston-based healthcare tech innovator, has acquired the assets of Wellbe, a digital health company offering patient navigation solutions for specialty care. Select members of Wellbe’s staff, as well as the company’s software and customers, integrated into Orbita’s organization on August 16.
The acquisition aims to create a seamless digital pathway for care with technology meant to streamline patient access, facilitate the care journey and enable timely outreach and follow-up. Orbita offers interactive virtual assistants and conversational AI capabilities while Wellbe offers digital navigation tools to address complex care pathways in areas like bariatric surgery and orthopedics.
