OneSpan Inc., a Boston-based provider of digital identity verification, authentication and fraud prevention solutions for banks and enterprises, has acquired mobile application security company Build38.

According to the announcement, Build38’s platform and team will be folded into OneSpan’s cybersecurity portfolio, expanding its mobile security stack with embedded app protection and cloud-driven threat analytics. The addition is intended to help organizations detect and disrupt sophisticated attacks earlier, respond with greater accuracy and better safeguard high-value mobile interactions as threats grow more complex.

OneSpan said that the acquisition will not materially affect its full-year 2026 guidance.
