Flywire, a global payments enablement and software company, has announced its acquisition of StudyLink, an Australian provider of international student admissions and application software. The acquisition is expected to enhance Flywire’s education payments business and accelerate its market share in the Australian education sector.
StudyLink offers a cloud-based platform that helps universities incorporate international applications and enrollments into their admissions process. This solution will be integrated with Flywire’s software and payments technology to streamline the entire student payment journey, from admissions to tuition payments. This deal also expands Flywire’s partnership with Navitas, the previous majority owners of StudyLink, as a key payments partner for Navitas’ campuses and colleges across the globe.
Flywire’s acquisition of StudyLink is part of its long-term plan to supplement its organic growth and expand across all business lines. The acquisition strengthens Flywire’s position in the education industry and allows it to expand the services it offers global institutions, agents and payers.
