Ellevation Education has a new CEO in Marion Kennedy Amos, who has been with the edtech company for more than a decade and currently serves as its president.
Ellevation Education’s technology provides data-driven support for English learners. Kennedy Amos has stepped into various sales and leadership positions for the company, including chief customer officer, vice president of sales and account management and director of sales. Her time as CEO begins March 1.
Outgoing CEO and co-founder Jordan Meranus is transitioning into the role of senior advisor. In his new capacity, Meranus will provide support for company leadership while contributing to strategic initiatives and external partnerships.
“Marion cares deeply about culture, and I am convinced that she will maintain what is special about Ellevation and find ways to enhance and improve what we do. I could not be more pleased that Marion, an accomplished leader and great person who is respected and admired by our team and customers alike, will move into the CEO role,” Meranus wrote in an announcement about the leadership change.
