CarGurus appointed Mike O’Hanlon as its new chief revenue officer, effective September 3. The company operates an online platform for shopping, buying and selling new and used vehicles.
O’Hanlon comes to CarGurus with nearly two decades of leadership experience in the e-commerce and SaaS sectors. Prior to joining CarGurus, he served as chief partnership officer at ezCater, where he managed relationship developments with restaurant partners and expanded the company’s sales team. Before that, he played a key role at Wayfair focusing on supplier relations, international expansion and strategic partnerships.
CarGurus’s wholesale platform allows consumers to buy or sell cars online or in person. Additionally, the company leverages proprietary tech and data analytics to provide transparent and competitive pricing, enabling dealerships to execute effective marketing strategies and complete quick acquisitions and sales nationwide.
As CRO, O’Hanlon will oversee the company’s sales and service teams, aiming to bolster CarGurus’ growth and enhance relationships with dealer partners. His work will help fuel customer growth and retention strategies across CarGurus’ online marketplace and SaaS offerings.
