Every week, we bring you the best events in Boston tech. This week's roundup includes a mixer for people interested in data analytics and a “lightning talks” event hosted by Women Who Code Boston, where members give short talks on everything from sequencing the human genome to writing software in 3D printing. Analytics.Club's Monthly Meet-N-Greet Mixer, October 25 from 6 to 8 p.m.

New and existing members of the Analytics.Club will gather at a bar (TBD) to build their professional networks and initiate good conversations on data science. Use the opportunity to exchange contact info with fellow data science fans and find new opportunities.

Opening Night Boston Celtics: Tech Networking with CarGurus, October 26 at 1:55 p.m.

If you want to learn more about working for the engineering team at CarGurus, come watch the opening night of the Boston Celtics from a luxury suite and you will have the opportunity to meet some of the company’s seasoned tech Gurus.

Lightning Talks and Hack Night, October 26 at 6:30 p.m.

Women Who Code is hosting lightning talks and a hack night, where for 45 minutes, members get the opportunity to give short talks about anything. It gives members the chance to practice their public speaking skills and talk about any topic they want. This round will include brief discussions on the cost of sequencing a human genome and the challenges of writing software in 3D printing.

Boston App Expo, October 28 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The fifth annual Boston App Expo is a conference for professionals in the app ecosystem to engage with other app owners and meet exhibitors with solutions for everything from marketing to legal to development. There will also be workshops and panels about entrepreneurship, development and marketing.

Pitch Your Startup for $1-$500K in Seed Funding, October 28 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
