Locus Robotics raised $117M. Locus Robotics is a Wilmington-based company that develops autonomous mobile robots that work alongside warehouse employees to fulfill orders more efficiently. This Series F round valued the company at close to $2 billion and brought its total funding to $430 million. Locus Robotics doubled its team last year and expects to see similar growth in the coming year. [Built In Boston]

CloudWave acquired Sensato Cybersecurity. Marlborough-based CloudWave provides cloud, cybersecurity and managed services for healthcare providers’ electronic health records. Last week, the company announced it acquired New Jersey-based Sensato Cybersecurity for an undisclosed amount and that Sensato founder John Gomez would become CloudWave’s chief security and engineering officer. Sensato’s cybersecurity-as-a-service platform will be available through CloudWave’s new Sensato Cybersecurity suite. [CloudWave]

Harte Hanks acquired InsideOut. Harte Hanks, a Chelmsford-based marketing services firm, acquired InsideOut, a Florida-based marketing technology company, for $7.5 million on December 1. InsideOut helps companies innovate and optimize their inside sales initiatives with analytics-driven testing and experimentation. InsideOut’s 136 employees joined the Harte Hanks team on the day of the acquisition, and the company’s St. Petersburg headquarters became Harte Hanks’ seventh office in North America.
