Hologram Sciences pulled in $100MUsing AI-powered tech, the startup specializes in offering personalized health and nutrition for patients with diverse conditions. With its fresh funding from Royal DSM, Hologram is planning to launch solutions for gut health, brain health and overall COVID-19 immunity. It’s also hiring for positions in its Boston office. Alyce got $30MCorporate gifting startup Alyce closed on its Series B round of funding led by General Catalyst. Its AI-based software integrates with other tools like Google suite to gather info on what gifts a recipient would genuinely enjoy. To date, Alyce has raised $48 million in funding and plans to invest this round in R&D, sales, customer support and hiring talent. [Built In Boston]

Akili joined forces with medical institutionsBy collaborating with Weill Cornell Medicine, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Akili is working to evaluate its digital therapeutic AKL-T01 to treat patients with “COVID brain fog.” The company hopes to prevent long-term consequences in COVID survivors like serious cognitive impairments.
