Buoy Health raised $15 million in an effort to ease hypochondriacs. When patients experience symptoms, the first place they turn to isn’t often a doctor’s office but the internet. Buoy Health wants to be a reliable, helpful and less scary place to visit online. It has an AI tool that helps people address and care for different symptoms. With 6.7 million annual interactions, Buoy Health hopes to expand into more U.S. markets and will use the latest funding to do so. [Built In Boston]

Inc. Magazine named the 5000 fastest growing companies, and Boston made a name for itself. The list included companies that only started generating revenue in 2015. Rocket Insights, Privy and INFUSEmedia are just some of the many Boston tech companies that scored a place on the list. [Built In Boston]

Thinkful is launching their 1:1 learning school in Boston. The company offers alternative payments for their school, including a promise of a $1,500 monthly living stipend, and no tuition payments until their students receive a job. The goal is to help tomorrow’s tech engineers expand their skill sets without worrying about living expenses.
