CTP, an integrated Marketing agency, is looking for a web developer with 2-4 years experience in Wordpress and Rails as well as strong e-commerce experience. The ideal candidate for this role is a motivated and energetic developer who is innovative, collaborative and enjoys finding solutions to a varying number of challenges. Responsibilities include:
- Develop websites and web applications as part of a team of developers, designers and producers;
- Create scalable and reusable code adhering to department standards;
- Adhere to project schedules and meet challenging deadlines;
- Stay knowledgeable of the industry standards and trends;
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients and vendors.
Required Skills:
- Experience working with high traffic websites and complex hosting environments;
- 2+ years in experience with Java, C or similar level programming language.
- 2+ years of experience with Backbone or Angular or Ember or similar MVC (MVW or MV*)
- Familiarity with CSS preprocessors like Scss or Less;
- 3 years of experience in JavaScript including jQuery and with CMS Wordpress (ver 4);
- 2 years of experience with Drupal;
- Experience creating responsive and adaptive websites from complex designs;
- Experience using code versioning systems in a multi-developer environment (Git, SVN, etc);
- Multimedia content development experience required;
- Affinity for the technology industry a plus;
- Agency experience preferred.
